DESCRIPTION:We’d like to invite you to the relaunch event for Resilience Foster Care in Slough on Wednesday 8 October\, 2–3.30pm at Council Chambers\, Observatory House\, Slough SL1 2EL. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThis event is a great opportunity for you to learn more about Resilience Foster Care — a therapeutic led care approach (fostering with TLC) that supports children and young people who have experienced trauma or have higher levels of need. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nBy attending\, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how this model works\, the support available to carers\, and how you can play a vital role in helping children achieve stability and thrive. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nYou’re also welcome to invite anyone who might consider fostering\, if they go on to become a carer\, you’ll receive a £1\,000 referral bonus as a thank you. DESCRIPTION:Have you been thinking about fostering or would you generally like to learn more about it? \n\n\n\nWhy not join us in our upcoming information session? Our information sessions are free of charge. \n\n\n\nAt Slough Children First\, we have some fantastic foster carers and are always welcoming more! \n\n\n\nOur policy is to try to place children locally\, before considering families further afield\, so that they maintain links that are important to them. If a child is placed further away\, we do all we can to maintain local links and to include children in all our celebrations\, events and consultations. \n\n\n\nIf you can provide a child or young person with a safe and nurturing family environment and have space to them in either short or long term then we would love to hear from you. \n\n\n\nOur fostering service was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in 2021 so there has never been a better time to join us. \n\n\n\nFree session will take place on 9th October 5.30-7pm at Observatory House\, 25 Windsor Road SL1 2EL. \n\n\n\nTook book your place for this information session\, please email foster@sloughchildrenfirst.co.uk  \n\n\n\nYou can also find out more about fostering within this website or you can contact one of our friendly advisors at foster@sloughchildrenfirst.co.uk or by phoning 01753 690777.
