There is no obligation or commitment\, just honest conversations and the chance to learn how you could make a lasting difference in a child’s life. \n\n\n\nFostering is one of the most rewarding ways to support children and young people who need a safe\, stable\, and caring home. Our information sessions are free of charge. \n\n\n\nAt Slough Children First\, we have some fantastic foster carers and are always welcoming more! \n\n\n\nOur policy is to try to place children locally\, before considering families further afield\, so that they maintain links that are important to them. If a child is placed further away\, we do all we can to maintain local links and to include children in all our celebrations\, events and consultations. \n\n\n\nIf you can provide a child or young person with a safe and nurturing family environment and have space to them in either short or long term then we would love to hear from you. \n\n\n\nOur fostering service was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in 2021 so there has never been a better time to join us. \n\n\n\nFree session will take place on Wednesday 9th September 5.30-7pm at Observatory House\, 25 Windsor Road SL1 2EL. \n\n\n\nTook book your place for this information session\, please email foster@sloughchildrenfirst.co.uk  \n\n\n\nYou can also find out more about fostering within this website or you can contact one of our friendly advisors at foster@sloughchildrenfirst.co.uk or by phoning 0300 131 2797.
